The Missouri Tigers have accepted a bid to play the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the Gasparilla Bowl in Tampa, FL on Friday, December 23rd. This is an exciting opportunity for our alums here in Northeast Florida to attend the bowl game and to watch our Tigers again in the state of Florida. Kick-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET.

The notice published via email by the Mizzou Alumni Association includes a “package” cost. The “package” is primarily focused on Mizzou alums living in Missouri and those traveling to Tampa from out-of-state.

Many of our fellow Northeast Florida alums have initiated efforts as follows:

1. Accessed Ticketmaster to secure game tickets on the Eastside of Raymond James Stadium behind the Tigers’ bench. The cost for tickets ranges from $42.00 up to $75.00. Many Northeast Florida alums have purchased tickets together in Section 134 Rows W and X. Plenty of good tickets are still available.
2. Use Expedia or Hotels.com to find reasonable accommodation for Friday evening after the game. Raymond James Stadium is located near Tampa International Airport and there are many available rooms in close proximity.
3. MAA has announced a pre-game tailgate at Raymond James Stadium beginning at 3:30 pm. Prior registration to the tailgate is required via the following link: Tailgate Registration.
