On Thursday evening, March 26, 2015, members of the NEFL Executive Board hosted twelve Mizzou students participating in the 2015 Mizzou Alternate Breaks Program to dinner at the M Shack in Atlantic Beach. Throughout the week, the students were assigned to work at Nemours Children’s Clinic, Wolfson Hospital and other pediatric location in downtown Jacksonville. The students were impressive. After a delicious dinner, the students participated in a Northeast Florida Trivia contest. In addition, one lucky student was selected as the recipient of a NEFL funded annual membership in the MAA’s True Tigers Program.
Over 800 students participated in the 2015 Mizzou Alternate Breaks Program in 21 different states. Over 23,000 man hours were contributed by these outstanding student leaders from Ol’ Mizzou.
